Chaz French’s new video and the visual is very thought provoking. “IDK,” is current project, “These Things Take Time”. He raps from a place of realness, his lyrics and captivating word play tell a story. Chaz sheds light on everyday life struggles and motivates his listeners to face their personal adversities. In the song he talks about losing yourself and finding yourself. Despite being young Chaz talks about going through a lot, sleeping in his car and not having money for food. He talks about before the money and what it feels like overcoming being broke. Personally feels like I got a new song to play as my Monday Motivation. He touches on the current state in the United States, losing so many young men to the gun violence by Police Officers.
“Being that this is my first video in my hometown DC, I wanted to show the city in a different light, as well as reference some of the things going on everyday in our world. These Things Take Time is a lot brighter than my first project Happy Belated, and I wanted the visuals to also reflect that,” explains Chaz French.
Chaz French is currently on tour with the big homie Freddie Gibbs for the “Shadow of A Doubt Tour.” The tour kicked off on March 20th in Santa Ana, CA and wraps on April 10th in Denver, CO. Check out this new video and follow the movement. Don’t be mad later!
